Jetty Visitors Centre seen from landing stage

The Jetty Visitors centre (Tourist Information) is for most visitors arriving by cruise vessel their very first point of contact with the Falkland Islands.

Inside the visitor can gleam many interesting facts and information about what to do and see in Stanley.

To the right is the bottom of Philomel Street (or Philomel Hill as most locals know it as) and Ross Road East.

Immediately, on the other side of the building (not shown) is the Pod Gift Shop, very well worth a visit, and run by the two Pat's - Patrick and Patricia Berntsen (two peas in a pod....?)
